Up a Tree
Life can drive you up a tree.
Three Ways to Enlarge Your Territory.

The King of kings and the Lord of lords wants YOU to be part of His family.
Who are You Serving With Your Life?
You are not responsible for the lives of your ancestors but you are responsible for your own life.
Sometimes we just have to do something!
Why some persist in doing evil

(An Ongoing Project - Construction began 03.28.16)

03.20.16 Ed resigned as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Cordell, Oklahoma. This will allow for more time to write devotionals which has been neglected.

08.29.15 Ed resigned as pastor of Rhea Church and began preaching at Calvary Baptist Church of Cordell, Oklahoma.
12.21.14 Rhea Church of Rhea, Oklahoma called Ed Wrather as their pastor. Although Ed has been preaching there for more than a year it was not until then that they offically called him as pastor.
Ed Wrather retired as pastor of the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater, Oklahoma as of the end of 2012. He had been the pastor there for a total of 18 1/2 years, 4 1/2 years the first pastorate and 14 years the second. Ed is hoping to have more time to write and hopes to have additional speaking opportunities as the Lord leads.
Before the pastorate Ed Wrather was very active as a layman serving as a Deacon. He was an Oklahoma Sr. Probation and Parole Officer for eight years. Prior to his becoming a Parole Officer he operated oilfield electronic inspection units and owned and operated an oilfield inspection company until the bust came to the oilfield in 1982.
Ed Wrather grew up on a farm in western Oklahoma where he now lives.
