How To Be Saved

To receive Christ as your Savior for all eternity and be saved - pray the prayer below which is based on the following Scriptures:

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. - Romans 3:23.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8.

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:9-10.

For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” - Romans 10:13.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. - John 1:12.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. - Revelation 3:20.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. - Ephesians 2:8-10.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. Please forgive me for the sins, the bad things I have done, I want to change and be like You. Please help me to change, be my Lord and my Master and my Savior. In your Name, Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart and save me. Amen.”

Please remember that words alone will not save you. Only if you truly mean it in your heart will you be saved. If you do pray the prayer above and mean it in your heart please send me an email at wrather@dobsonteleco.com or edwrather@theburningbush.org and I will send you additional helpful information (Or, write to me at P. O. Box 210, Sweetwater, OK 73666).

As soon as possible share your commitment with someone else and follow the Lord in baptism as He commands.
